Spring Means Grilling Season

The cabin fever has set in and we are more than prepared for Spring. With Spring comes cooking outdoors. Warmer climates may get to enjoy outdoor cooking year round, but we tend to be a bit more limited in the Midwest. But just because we don't get to experience the grilling season quite as long, doesn't mean we want to settle for just hot dogs. Let's spice up those grills and make the neighbors jealous with a little flair.

We all know we need to eat more vegetables, but let's face it...vegetables can be a bit boring. We have a simple fix for this. Add prosciutto. So simple and yet so delicious. We wrapped our veggies in tin foil sprayed with cooking spray. Add a few chopped up slices of prosciutto, a dash of salt, and a dash of pepper...and boom! We have a simple side dish that isn't boring. Pull out your crisp, cool white wine selection and we are off to a great start to summer. We found the Hans Schiller Liebfraumilch for under $10 at Total Wine and we weren't disappointed. Here is to the start of a great summer!
