Old York Cellars

Old York Cellars is one of our favorite places to visit in New Jersey. Nestled on 25 acres of preserved farm land, Old York Cellars makes for the perfect spot to escape the dense population of most New Jersey cities and horrible traffic jams. Take a tour or have a picnic and enjoy the views of the vineyard and Sourland Mountain Range. The views are still beautiful even on a rainy and foggy day!

We became case members last year and have enjoyed all of the benefits that have come from this membership. We have been to countless free tastings, case club events, and have brought several friends and family members from out of state to visit. Most weekends you can find local musicians in their Vista Room which also rotates the works of local artists. Old York Cellars has been a great way to explore the music and art scene of New Jersey in a low key and relaxed setting.

Favorite White: Sweet Riesling

Favorite Red: Cabernet Sauvignon

Check out: White Port

Not all of us our port drinkers, but this White Port pairs well with a chilly evening. Also, I find it hard to locate white port in the liquor stores, so this one is needs to be checked out simply because.

Visiting a winery can create a great experience and leave you with lasting memories. If you can't get to Old York in person, visit them at http://www.oldyorkcellars.com/.
